If you chose to stay at one of the hotels recommended for the MOVE Congress participants, you got there! Both recommended hotels are located on either side of Tivoli Hotel and Congress Centre on Carsten Niebuhrsgade.
If you’re joining the MOVE Congress from a different location, you can find the instructions below or use the information on the venue’s website.
From Copenhagen Airport take a train directly from Terminal 3, track 2 towards Copenhagen. Exit at Copenhagen Central Station (Kbh H), and walk to the hotel from there. Exit the platform via the stairs / lift onto Tietgensgade, turn left, then take the first right onto Bernstorffsgade and the first right onto Carsten Niebuhrsgade. The conference venue and other recommended hotels will be on your left. Total walking time 15-20 mins.
Alternatively, take an S-train (A, B, Bx, C, E or H) from Copenhagen Central Station to Dybbølsbro Station which is adjacent to the central bus station and a few minutes’ walk from the conference venues and recommended hotels. Airport train tickets are also valid to travel on the metro and S-train (90 mins). The nearest metro station to Tivoli Hotel is Havneholmen (750 metres).
The Congress venue is adjacent to Copenhagen’s central bus station, which serves national and international bus traffic. Tivoli Hotel and Congress Centre is also served by bus 11A, which stops outside Copenhagen Central Station on Bernstorffsgade
Taxis are available at Copenhagen Airport and the Central Station. Prices are relatively high and the train from the airport is generally faster.
