Guin Batten

Guin’s life is defined by the question ‘do you see the word impossible as statement of fact, or as a question?’ As an athlete she won Great Britain’s’ first female Olympic rowing medal in Sydney 2000 and has achieved numerous world records in ocean rowing. She has worked for the British Olympic Association, World Rowing, UK Sport and Sport England. For 12 years Guin was instrumental in the design and development of a range of cutting-edge programmes for the Youth Sport Trust. Using the power of sport to change young peoples lives.
