Megumi Aoyama
Megumi Aoyama serves with the UN Refugee Agency’s Refugee Sports Coordination Team at Headquarters. She works on sports partnerships and sport for protection programming with the aim of achieving better outcomes for displaced and stateless children and youth through sport as well as to advocate for the use of sport as an effective protection tool in humanitarian settings. Megumi worked with the International Paralympic Committee as UNHCR liaison in bringing the Refugee Paralympic Team to the Tokyo Games 2020. Megumi holds a degree in Economics and a Master in International Development and Humanitarian Affairs.
