About The Speaker
After her graduation in philosophy, Valérie Glatigny worked as a journalist. She entered Belgian and then European politics in 2003. She worked for 15 years in European institutions. In May 2019, she was elected first deputy. In September 2019, she was sworn in as Minister in charge of Higher Education, Social Promotion Education, University Hospitals, Scientific Research, Youth Assistance, Houses of Justice, Youth, Sports and the Promotion of Brussels within the government of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.
