Developed by 7 European countries, the European Fitness Badge is an individual assessment of health-enhancing fitness status and awards this status on three levels: Basic, Advanced and Approved. It is also an effective instrument that sport and health organisations can use to raise awareness among the adult population in Europe about the importance of health-enhancing physical activity.
The European Fitness Badge helps to:
- motivate and support people to change their behaviour to an active lifestyle
- invite, include and commit more people to exercise, sport and physical activity
